About Pick Your Type

Pick Your Type is a free visual quiz that helps you notice the faces you’re drawn to. It’s an independent project inspired by the my type trend, and it isn’t affiliated with mytype.fyi.

How the quiz works

You choose women or men and see 8 rounds of 12 portraits. Each portrait belongs to one of six looks. From round 5, the quiz shows more of the looks you favor while still mixing in others. Your result is the look you picked more often than the others, or A Taste for Variety when no look stands out. See all types.

The portraits

Every person in the quiz is a fictional adult. The portraits were made with an AI image tool for this quiz and grouped into the six looks by hand. There are about 170 portraits in each group.

Your data

The quiz runs in your browser. It doesn’t ask for an account or a photo, and your picks stay on your device. Read the privacy notice.
